Instructor insight emails summarise anonymised student activity to help you identify where your class may need support. StudyStash analyses uploaded materials, concepts students ask StudyChat about, misunderstandings and assessment answers.

What you receive

  • A collection of student usage data from StudyStash.
  • High-level summaries of topics students understand well and areas they find challenging.
  • Suggested questions to ask your students, where included, with useful figures and percentages.

When it arrives

The cadence is agreed at the start of your pilot and is typically every week, or every two to three weeks depending on class activity.

Missing an email?

If you have not received an insight email, check:
  • Class engagement: there may not be enough activity to generate anonymised insights.
  • Setup: your institution’s admin team may not have configured the emails yet. They can follow Set up instructor insight emails.
