StudyChat uses the course materials available to it to answer questions and provide source references. Check the cited material to see how it supports an answer.

Answers outside your materials

If a response is not directly supported by the uploaded material, StudyChat displays a warning. Treat this as a reason to check the answer before relying on it.

Will everyone receive the same answer?

Responses are generated for each conversation, so wording, examples and references can vary. Asking the same question does not guarantee an identical answer. Use the original course material as the reference point.

Can an answer be wrong?

Yes. AI can misinterpret a question or produce an inaccurate answer, including when it provides a citation. Check important details against the source and your instructor’s guidance.
