# Keep your work when your access ends

> Check your access end date and ask support about exporting your work.

Your institution controls your StudyStash access. If you are graduating, leaving your institution or reaching the end of a pilot, contact [support@studystash.com](mailto:support@studystash.com) to check your access end date and export options.

## Request an export

1. Email **[support@studystash.com](mailto:support@studystash.com)** from the address linked to your StudyStash account.
2. Use the subject **Request to export my StudyStash content**.
3. Include your institution, the content you want to keep and your expected access end date, if you know it.

[Request a content export](mailto:support@studystash.com?subject=Request%20to%20export%20my%20StudyStash%20content\&body=Institution%3A%20%5BYour%20institution%5D%0AContent%20I%20would%20like%20to%20keep%3A%20%5BDescribe%20the%20content%5D%0AExpected%20access%20end%20date%2C%20if%20known%3A%20%5BDate%5D)

The team will confirm what can be exported and how to receive it. Request this before your access ends where possible. If your account is already deactivated, contact support to check what is still available.

## What happens to course materials?

An export request does not automatically include your instructor’s materials or content owned by someone else. What you can keep depends on the content and your institution’s arrangements.

For questions about retention or your institution’s agreement, contact support or visit the [Trust centre](https://trust.studystash.com).
